இட்லி தோசைக்கு தக்காளி சட்னி
Ingredients : tomato – 5 nos (medium sized), onion – 5 nos (medium sized), garlic – 12 cloves (peeled), dry red chilli – 2 nos, urad dal (black gram) – 2 tsp, chana dal (Bengal gram) – 1 tsp, some curry and coriander leaves, coconut – 1 small piece, refined oil – 2-3 tsp, salt as much as necessary
Note : 1. Cut tomatos, onions & coconut piece as shown in the video, 2. We are making this tomato chutney for 4 to 5 persons
After heating the vessel pour oil to it – add chana dal and sauté for some time – add urad dal and sauté lightly until it turns little brown – add dry red chilli and sauté – add garlic cloves and sauté for 30 secs – add cut onions and sauté for 2 mins in medium flame – now add cut tomatos and sauté for 2-3 mins – also add necessary salt – now add curry and coriander leaves and sauté for some time – at this stage switch off the stove and finally add coconut pieces to it – let it cool for some time -transfer this whole mixture to mixie and add ¼ cup of water and grind into fine paste – that’s all your favourite chutney is ready now, topup this with seasoned curry leaves and mustard for garnishing as well as to enhance taste.Try this yummy tomato chutney this will go well with idli and dosa.
